Snapped SF: Hallidie Building, First in Glass

Snapped SF is a collaborative photo essay of sorts— we love to see the city through your eyes, and in turn show it to our readers. Submit your snaps to us directly or, better yet, join the Curbed SF Flickr group.

We always love an edifying Snapped SF, and iceman882 doesn't disappoint. San Francisco's Hallidie Building, designed by Willis Polk in 1918, is the first building in the country to feature glass curtain walls. Next slide, please.
