Pigeon Point Sees the Light

Hope on the horizon for the dilapidated Pigeon Point lighthouse with the recent acquisition of a $54,000 grant aimed at repairing all those brick chunks that keep falling into the ocean. Says the grant-giver's program officer, "There's a long way to go, but preservationists have learned to be optimistic. We'll get there." Well we're glad someone's optimistic! [SF Gate]
