A few more details about Better Place's electric-vehicle infrastructure: there'll be 100 battery-swap locations and 250,000 charging locations. Users will own their own cars, but not the batteries, since they'll be swapping them out on the regs. "But a jumble of battery types from various automakers, without industry-wide standardization, could obviously turn such a plan into a nightmare."
