Poor Gubaksh Chahal. In his appearance on the Fox reality show Secret Millionaire last week, the "300 Million Dollar Man" was forced to give up his Infinity Tower penthouse for "the worst neighborhood" in the city -- the Tenderloin! He shacks up at 508 Larkin Street at Turk, gives away some cash to the impoverished and do-gooding locals and the tears abound. But while Chahal's new studio digs may not be the monogrammed luxury he's used to, they are available for rent to the less-moneyed among us -- at $1295 per month. Perhaps that high price tag is what has them sitting on the market in these tough times, available for use by Fox and its preferred douchery?
