This week's PriceSpotter subject was 1435 12th Ave, a 5 bedroom Edwardian in the Sunset with enough wood surfaces to warrant bulk purchases of Pledge and Murphy's Oil Soap. Our winning guess comes from an anonymous commenter who came very close with their middle-of-the-pack $490 / sq ft estimate (and a new pair of socks for floor sliding!). Actual listing price is $1,149,000, which works out to $487 / per. And as for that strange piano-looking stove? Anon reader-shared tidbit: it's the "Flair Range," an early 60's model from Frigidare.
