Talk about blight. An Oakland woman's home is apparently at risk of being buried under the rubble of three tenuous hillside abodes. After a February 2006 landslide, the properties began to gradually rain debris into her backyard. Two neighboring houses, which she owns, are also now unlivable, which means the elderly woman can't get rental income out of them. City says: not our problem. So much for broken windows theory.
