Listen up, budding artistes: you, too, could get a grant from the San Francisco Arts Commission to decorate your apartment all psychadelic-like! Just take a page from Megan Wilson's playbook and pitch home as art. The Nob Hill resident has dropped some mad money at Flax to turn her apartment at 1256 Leavenworth into a homespun den of craft, open to the public Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons. The landlord has invoked the Ellis Act and Wilson will have to dismantle her work soon, so hop to it if you'd like to check out those glued-on feathers and burned-out suede. Crafty.
