Potrero Pad Floor Plan Porn and Virtual Staging

New, 4 comments

A "ground up" renovation and seven years of a relatively booming SF economy can work wonders for a home's value. Last sold in 2001 for almost 1/3 of it's current listing price, 778 Kansas Street is now on the market for $1,700,000. The open plan of the 2,443 sq ft, three-story home has been designed to have a "comfortable flow and to take advantage of natural light." We're a little confused by the renderings though. That's right, renderings — for a built unit. Is this the ultimate in new luxury staging? Why go through the trouble of tracking down some vaguely mid-century furniture when you can just harness technology to soullessly show off a room's potential?
