One striptease replaces another. In the wake of the shuttering of Market Street adult superstore, Secrets, the erstwhile California Savings building on the corner of Market and Ellis teases us with a glimpse of destructoporn. Behind the construction fence of the flatiron-style building, the awkward brick archways are gone and there's hope for something worthy of the prominent location between two Bay Area institutions, the Apple Store and Old Navy. And speaking of institutions, we also can't help but to wonder what's in store for that neighboring Market Street icon, Shoe Pavillion?
