Embarcadero's Pier 36 to Be Greened By Prop. A

New, 3 comments

Yesterday, we told you about the parks bond (a.k.a. Proposition A) that will be on the February 5th ballot (a.k.a. the Presidential Primary). Well, Rincon Hill SF dug a little deeper into prop A and found a plan for Pier 36 – the fenced-off modern ruin that, while lending the Bay shore a certain amount of condemned romance, could be— and often is— considered it an eyesore on an otherwise majestic promenade. Prop A could potentially change that with the inclusion of a $3 million dollar provision to transform the pier into a local green space, complete with picnic tables and small-boat docks (not too be confused with small boat-docks).
