Eater Tastings: Wood Fired in SoMa, PlumpJack to Marin!

Along with Curbed SF's makeover yesterday, we welcomed Eater SF to the dancefloor. Herewith, today's highlights from our new restaurant, bar, and club blog.

1) SoMa: Steps from the insanity that is One Rincon Hill, in the space that once held the immortal Computer Rental at 330 1st Street, the folks behind Oola prepare to open Local Kitchen and Wine Merchant. Is that a wood-fired pizza oven (above), or do our eyes betray us? Also on the SoMa Plywood beat: a look inside Elizabeth Falkner's forthcoming Orson.

2) SoMa: Speaking of Mint Plaza, Eater SF operatives hear that the on-again, off-again, on-again, off-again (repeat 25x) negotiations for Limon to open in the Mint Plaza Restaurant Collection are officially on. Us? We'll believe it when we see it.

3) Mill Valley: It was inevitable: PlumpJack is heading to Marin. Godspeed, etc.
