Serious Downsizing

From The Chronicle: Dirk Dieter pays $101K for a 250-square-foot house in Pacifica in 1999. Fixes it up, adds a 224-square-foot garage to keep his stuff in instead of the car, thus enabling a minimalist life inside the house. Which is totally cheating, dude. Cool little house, a laboratory for the pared-down/small is good paradigm. If you have a garage, that is. Nice website documenting the house renovation and Dieter's various projects.
