Where Are They Now?

That huge sucking sound heard last week in Marin County was realtor to-the-very-rich Decker-Bullock getting affiliated by Sotheby's International Real Estate. Currently on their website: Tom Perkins' (Kleiner Perkins, Intel) echt-Normandy estate for $20.5M and "Toxic Bob" Friedland's Locksley Hall, last listed at $65M. Plus an assortment o listings under $5M.

The This Old House old church went to contract last Friday morning after what seems like hours on the market. The scheduled open house took place- they're looking for backup offers. The place is looking a bit worn. Lots of parties- word is the owner liked to move out the furniture and throw big fund-raisers. Has a crazy system of motorized screens and sliding panels and projectors and speakers. Missing: the disco ball. Still the belle of the ball.
