On the market for the first time, 2960 Vallejo Street, designed by Bay Area modernist Joe Esherick. From 1953, and looks to be in good original condition above; the realtor's website shows vintage images. More than just a rare example of Bay Area Modern, 2960 Vallejo was home to the late activist/philanthopist and sculptor Sally Lilienthal, best known as founder of the Ploughshares Fund. Her activities in the areas of justice, nuclear disarmament and land mine removal are legendary.
