Fact: Curbed SF readers do not like Gluckman Mayner's preliminary CAMP plans. Yesterday's poll revealed that out of 147 reader votes, only 6.1% (9 votes) preferred CAMP over SF MOMA, the De Young, The Contemporary Jewish Museum, and the CA Academy of Sciences. At the end of the day, the real action was to be found in the brutal competition between the Herzog & De Meuron's De Young Museum and Renzo Piano's CA Academy of Sciences. Final call: The De Young (61 votes or 41.5%) edged out the CA Academy of Sciences by a narrow margin (57 votes or 38.8%). The people have spoken.
