On the Market, Part Deux: Dogpatch Loft by David Baker

New, 1 comment

A live/work loft space in an award-winning building designed by local starchitect, Dwell favorite, and patron saint of affordable housing, David Baker, is (still) currently on the market.

Located at 1415 Indiana St. in the the up-and-coming Dogpatch, the top floor unit offers views of the water, plenty of natural ventilation and natural light, and bragging rights with all your design-nerd friends. We came across this one hanging around the Craigslist today, listed at $749,000. A post like this one wouldn't be complete without a few choice words in architect-ese:

Lofts are sited to create a dynamic relationship between the buildings and broken up into "building blocks" to mitigate each unit's long volume. The orientation and elevation of each space were thoughtfully considered to respond to specific views afforded by the neighborhood.· $749000 David Baker Modern Design: 1BR+Den/2BA View Dogpatch Loft (potrero hill) [Craigslist]
