US Cities' LEEDership Ranked, SF 5th

New, 1 comment

Treehugger recently posted the above chart showing the leading LEEDed metro areas for 2007. Despite the completion of La Casa Verde, the study ranks San Francisco as the 5th leading metro area in LEED certified buildings, while LA and Houston in the top two spots. Clearly, this is a little biased towards faster-growing cities. As far as state rankings go, California is number one (natch) but the second "leading state for green" is a bit of a surprise - Texas. Texas! Next thing you know, they'll be a voting blue.
