Price Choppers: 2152 Market St.

New, 3 comments

A Duboce Triangle two-fer: two units with reduced prices here in this six-unit TIC complex at 2152 Market. Unit B, the middle floor unit, was cut by $20k (about 2.3%) and is now $815k; the top floor, which promises great city views, was cut by the same amount (about 2.2% in this case) for a current L.P. of $875k. Both have 3 beds and 2 baths and come in around 1,400 sq. feet ($585-$615 per sq. ft., respectively); the upper unit is a touch bigger. HOA dues = $275/mo. The 1907-built building doesn't exactly show its age, with recent, modern upgrades throughout.

Drivers in this part of town would be grateful for the garage parking; not easy to street park around here. Trip down the stairs and you practically land on a MUNI car; it's a good location for pedestrian commuting as well. In fact, the hustle and bustle of the city is right at the doorstep; Upper Market is not exactly known for being quiet (you might catch a few moments of peace with private decks and a shared garden, though). Even the showings are geared to the worker bees: check the units out yourself at a "Twilight Open House" this Thursday from 5:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. and have your after-work cocktail in this vibrant 'hood.
