BART has caved on its food and drink policy after 35 years of strict enforcement (drink policy? what drink policy?). Following a deal brokered with Metropolitan Coffee and Concession Co., Peet's coffee will settle in to up to eight Bay Area stations, the first by the end of January; likely sites include all of the major downtown stops plus a few suburban outlets.
