Snapped SF: North Beach Guerilla Ops

Snapped SF is a daily photographic essay on San Francisco featuring snaps that capture easily overlooked details in a particular neighborhood or building. (No sweeping views of the Golden Gate Bridge here!) Today's photog is Flickr user lukewho. Do you shoot and post? Join the Curbed Flickr group—we choose a new photog each and every time.

This is, by far, the most interesting shot of Coit Tower we've seen, if only that the giant phallus memorial to firemen lost in the 1906 fire is effectively usurped by what lukewho claims to be a "little ninja."
