Ahh, it must be good to be City College. We were wrong when we accused City College staff at the new Waller Street "temporary" campus of annexing the sidewalks to park on. A DPT employee (in one of those clever little carts) confirmed this morning that the DPT is permitting City College staff to park on the sidewalks during street cleaning:
"We're only concerned with street cleaning. They have to move back when the sweeper goes through"Presumably the privilege will extend to the four hundred students expected to attend the 8-10:30 classes on Tuesday mornings. Just not the people who actually live in the neighborhood.
