Post-Dwell

We came away from the Dwell conference with a few thoughts:
1. They should do it again next year!
2. San Francisco's homeless problems could be greatly relieved with a bulk purchase of Airstream Bambis, a few extension cords and a leased parking lot. Who says they have to drive away? At less than 40K each, substantially cheaper than building something.
3. Odegard now makes hemp rugs. Made in Nepal w/o child labor, what could be more San Francisco?
4. LEED may not be all it's cracked up to be, meaning developers can use offsets (like planting trees somewhere) to get certification. More on that, future posts.
