This started out with seeing more and more listings on streets we'd never heard of. With realtor's names we'd never heard of, with prices in the 600's for houses that were beaten-down fixers or painted bright blue. We don't want to think about demographic shifts, but there's no reason not to cash in and move to Modesto or Benecia and have a lawn.
From a quick tramp through Trulia we get the sense that an entire swath of San Francisco is for sale. Prices range from the low 400's to three million for an empty lot. Let's shop!
