Forensic Journalism: The Bubble Burst in Marin County

Barbarians at the Bridge: Having nothing better to do this week than pick on California, the New York Times declared today that the bubble burst in Marin County and locates the epicenter (bubblecenter?) at 57 Marina Drive in San Rafael. Not exactly, but if it's too painful to read past the third paragraph, that's what you'd think. This is in the Business Section, which is perhaps why the economist at the National Association of Realtors actually manages to spit out "It's going from a seller's market to a buyer's market." And why he'll never speak to the press again without a publicist listening in.
