Taking on Water

Friday was a tough day at Curbed SF (that pesky day job Mother won't let us give up) and we missed this high-water mark of journalism and mapmaking in the Chronicle.

Which means we can put up this picture again, taken from roughly where the "T" in Third Street is on the map. Because if some scientists have it right, San Francisco, the most "European" of American cities, will get downright Venetian. It's never too soon to start planning for gondola congestion. And worry if this lovely little number is in ship-shape condition.
