This is the week where Forbes becomes the Billionaire's People Magazine. We haven't had a look through to see who made it onto the list- we're not husband-hunting this week- but we did check out the real estate. San Francisco did not make it to the top of any lists. We have no private islands and wild appreciation in real estate values seem to have flattened in our maturing market, but we do have one brilliant broker, Patrick Barber.
In the Best Time to Sell Sara Clemence looks at various cities. In Miami and Las Vegas, for instance, she quotes brokers saying "sell now" and LA gets "be realistic."
Barber weighs in with "When your broker tells you to."
Way to go Patrick. Because without a broker, we're nothing.
