Practice Writing Zeros

With all the debate this month about affordable housing for families, we thought we'd highlight a new listing this week that's perfect for a family.

This 3/3.5 comes with a two-car garage (take that, Aaron Peskin) and is probably the least affordable apartment in San Francisco at $7,200,000- and may be the most expensive apartment currently listed in San Francisco.

This austerely elegant cooperative building does not permit financing. So while you can't be turned down by the board, you do have to write a check for $7,200,000. While anyone can write a check for $7,200,000, make sure this one will clear when deposited. And who needs a mortgage hanging over their heads, anyway?

The property taxes will be about $82,000; monthly charges a mere $1666.40.

Have a look at #7 in the same building, which sold for $6.5M late last year (with flooplans.)
