When we last checked, Bernal Heights was the cute, sleepy, lesbian mom capital of San Francisco where everyone gardens and is generally chill. But, now we've been alerted that the nabe is sending threatening letters to the City. SF Parks and Rec is instituting some park improvements including relocating a gate. The Bernal Heights Park Association believes this will create parking hell. The latest letter is really entertaining, check out the climax: "If you think this is the end, it is not. The moment the road gets blocked, pandemonium is going to set in. We don’t have to do anything, in fact I will be out of town. You will be setting the trap yourself. We have warned you." Shudder.
