Short Selling in Sacramento

[Photo credit: Lance Iverson for The Chronicle]

In Sacramento's suburbs, newly-constructed houses are not only cheaper than resales, but developers are throwing in extras like swimming pools and hardwood floors to sell off inventory. More locally, there are twenty-two units for sale (via the MLS) this week at The Beacon, a building that seems to have developed a similar affliction... there are other projects that are better, cheaper, nicer in the same SoMa neighborhood.
