More "Post-Frenzy Rebalancing" Please

In the nine-county area that comprises the Bay Area, 7,979 residential properties changed hands this past October. That's down from 10,508 in October 2005, and the lowest since October 2001, when the real estate markets wobbled, post 9-11, at 7,864.

The market is in the midst of its post-frenzy rebalancing phase.
