They started in Brooklyn, to which we say, hell, you gotta start somewhere. The latest blogregator/Google mashup, outside.in takes your zipcode and brings all the location-pertinent blogs and news to the screen. Give it a chance, let it grow. Throw some fertilizer at it. Right now it's more Gowanus than Potrero but that should change.
Of course we love that it's .in, not .biz or .us or even the boring old .com. Does this mean it's in India- or Indianapolis? Has my neighborhood been outsourced or are we just getting more global? Professor McLuhan, are you watching?
