Bureaucrats Bite Back

It's getting harder and harder to get anyone to fess up to actually voting for Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. After reading this article a few times, I still can't figure out exactly what went down, but apparently the Governor shut down the Bay Bridge project for a cheaper solution. Check and balances being what theyare, Caltrans decided to go ahead with the original design, but not without letting everyone know that the Gov's work stoppage will cost an extra $81M.

After spending $300M on a failed special election last month, of course.
