As usual, the lads at SF Cityscape are on the case with the new tower proposal for the third-tallest building west of the Mississippi over the Transbay Terminal site (where the chubby guy's standing, above.) Apparently this proposal takes it up to 850 feet high, while they're currently approved for only 550, the argument being a bigger building will help pay for the new terminal below and aesthetically balance the Transamerica Pyramid. I think. We'll see. Some people seem more pissed off that the Transbay planners are actually proposing something to move the project forward. Stay in your cage, little hamsters, and let the grownups deal with this one.
