New to the market this week: for $20M you can buy, fully furnished, the only Gwathmey-Siegel house in the Bay Area. It took three years to build (not including permitting and reviews) this waterfront palace on not-really-an-island Belvedere Island, finished in 2003. One can only wonder why it's for sale after just over two years of occupancy. Boredom? Divorce? Fear of rising sea levels due to global warming? Too much fog? Pirates?
