Hardly a day goes by without news of yet another Google expansion. Today the Internet juggernaut made things official with NASA's Moffett Field, a lease that has been in the works since February. This is good news for the disused Hangar One, which was stripped of its toxic siding a few years back and has stood skinless and in danger of deteriorating ever since. Google, which signed on to pay the government $1.16 billion for the Moffett lease over the next 60 years, plans to restore the hangar. The deal also happens to come with an 18-hole golf course.
