SOMA—It's a huge week for openings in SF, with tons of high-profile spots coming on the scene. The biggest: Magnolia's long-anticipated Dogpatch brewery and BBQ restaurant, Smokestack, which is set to open on Monday. Take a look and find out what's on offer.

THE EMBARCADERO—Coqueta is one year old this week, and they've had an amazing first year. Michael Chiarello sat down with us to talk about his restaurant midlife crisis, tater-tot haters, and how to score a table.

SOMA— Dirty Habit, the sultry new spot that's replacing Fifth Floor, is now open with a huge patio perfect for the warm weather. Check out menus and look around the space.

THE EMBARCADERO—Hog Island Oyster Company at the Ferry Building is back from renovations with double the space, gorgeous new decor, and a full liquor license and cocktails.

NOPA/WESTERN ADDITION—4505 Meats' empire has expanded once again with 4505 Burgers & BBQ, Ryan Farr's new enterprise in Divis' former Da' Pitt.

BAY AREA—Oh, and the Eater Heatmap got an update, to keep you apprised of all these new places.

SOMA—It's fast times at the Twitter building: the latest tenants to sign on are a Mexican restaurant and bar and a huge, Ferry Building-like food court and grocery with a Blue Bottle, juice bar, sushi, and more.

NORTH BEACH/YOUNTVILLE—The French Laundry is a perennial on San Pellegrino's list of the world's 50 best restaurants, but they were joined by a new player: Daniel Patterson's Coi, which made the list for the first time ever this year.
