The project to turn the Olivet Theological University site into a new 11-story hotel is back before the Planning Commission tomorrow after months of negotiations between the project sponsor and several SOMA neighborhood groups. The project was continued back in February when neighborhood organizations were concerned the hotel use wasn't compatible with the SOMA Youth and Family Special Use District. They've pow-wowed since, and agreed that the sponsor will make a contribution to fund community benefits. [SF Planning/previously on Curbed SF]
