Yesterday the Planning Commission voted to approved the Transbay Center District Plan. The plan centers around the new terminal for buses, Caltrain, and (hopefully) high speed rail, but includes all the surrounding area and its potential for new development. The Commission was all over the plan, saying it "sets the gold standard for sustainable, transit-based growth in the region and carefully balances this with critical aspects of livability that makes San Francisco special."
