This week we'll be heading up the hill to the Haight Ashbury neighborhood, with boundaries you can see above. There aren't that many abodes currently for sale (especially when we don't list pending sales), so we're only sharing the top five least expensive homes currently for sale in the Upper Haight. As always, we won't be including any property that has a sale that's currently pending. Readers, have a neighborhood you want us to feature? Shoot us an email or leave a note in the comments. We'll see what we can do. Let's get this party started!
5) 504 Clayton Street
Asking price: $879,000
Size: 2-bed, 1-bath; 1,411 square feet
Price per square foot: $623
The skinny: This is a corner condo that has a real rarity around the neighborhood: 2-car parking in a private garage. Broker babble tells us that this "early 1900's Victorian has evolved into a chic living space all while staying true to its original identity." Judging by the photos, we're going to have to agree. To add to that, the kitchen and bathroom have been majorly upgrades and are now sleek and sexy (and shiny when necessary). The condo also comes with a separate room downstairs that's currently setup as a home office. Monthly HOA dues are $282 and there's 2-car parking in a private garage.
4) 1673 Page Street
Asking price: $829,000
Size: 2-bed, 1.5-bath; unlisted square footage
Price per square foot: Unavailable
The skinny: This is a 2-story condo that's "located on the most coveted block of Page Street," or at least that's what the listing says. The main floor has a double living room with high coved ceilings, decorative fireplace and two large bay windows, and we're sort of dying over how beautiful it is. The upper level houses the bedrooms and full bath. Monthly HOA dues are $265 and there's 1-car parking in the garage.
3) 1241-1245 Masonic Avenue, #1245
Asking price: $829,000
Size: 2-bed, 2.5-bath; unlisted square footage
Price per square foot: Unavailable
The skinny: This is a TIC in a 3-unit building. You're in for a treat if comfortable with the TIC aspect. In addition to highlights like two gas burning fireplaces and a completely tricked out kitchen, this abode also has a dining room that's gunning for the top spot on our list of Favorite Dining Rooms in S.F. Monthly HOA dues aren't listing and there's 1-car parking in the garage.
2) 1241-1245 Masonic Avenue, #1243
Asking price: $729,000
Size: 4-bed, 1.5-bath; unlisted square footage
Price per square foot: Unavailable
The skinny: This is a TIC in the same building as the unit above (3-unit building). It's currently tenant occupied and they pay $2,460 a month. Monthly HOA dues are unlisted but there's 1-car parking in the garage.
1) 762-764 Cole Street, #2
Asking price: $499,000
Size: 1-bed, 1-bath; unlisted square footage
Price per square foot: Unavailable
The skinny: Goodness, a property for under 500K finally made it onto the list. This unit's also a TIC but in a 6-unit building. French doors open onto an exclusive use patio which leads to a large shared yard and deck. $7,500 credit from seller to buyer if escrow closes by March 30th. Monthly HOA dues are $272 and there's 1-car parking in the garage.
