Render Reveal: 870 Harrison is Brown

6-28-09870harrison.jpg

Back in April Curbed readers debated over what color the facade of 870 Harrison would be. Now you know: brown. Not quite reddish brown, but a warm brown. The architecture firm behind the project says it's "glass and metal in harmonious colors," but really it's just a lot of brown. More details on the property: six-story building with 26 1-bed and 2-bed units, 4 of which will be affordable housing. On the street level you'll see there's a commercial space, but it's restricted for production, distribution, and repair (PDR) business use.
