Storefronting: Union Square Mega Retail Edition
Thursday, April 10, 2008, by Sarah Hromack

Storefronting is Curbed's regular look at the changing retail scene, with an emphasis on how it impacts neighborhoods. Opening a store? See a store that's opening? Send the deets. We have a special place in our hearts for those who also include digital photos.

Expect a June 2008 opening for De Beers on Post Street. Looks like the De Beers model is already having a rough go of it. Better the silly string get to her first than the anti-capitalism/ gentrification/ animal cruelty/ diamond industry rioters. To the galleries for more openings and shutterings at Union Square, where the retail wheat separates from the chaff.
