Curbed Inside Update: The Hayes
Tuesday, January 15, 2008, by Sarah Hromack
Curbed Inside visits the interior of a structure with an eye towards revealing its design and architecture. If you've got a project you'd like Curbed SF to consider, no matter its kind or condition, email us.
Earlier today, Curbed SF was invited aboard The Hayes mothershiponce more. Here's a little progress report: though it might not appear as such, the development is nearly complete (97%) with 63/111 units in contract— around 60%). This shot was taken inside one of two rather palatial master suites; its floor plan was customized to suit its owner, one of the project's developers: wall demo = good times. Onward for the deets.
View deux of the master suite; the low wall demarcates the future kitchen.
8th floor 1 bedroom, 1 bath unit.
View from the front door of that unit— nice.
Studio kitchen— note that the architect didn't chop the studio in half with an island. For once!
Views!
More! (Note: rather flimsy looking guardrail will, in fact, be replaced.)
New and improved roof garden— landscaped for your viewing pleasure.
Another roof-in-progress shot.
Just in case you forgot what the joint looked like.
