From Curbed SF regular murphoak, a response to yesterday's post on— what else?— Castro Halloween festivities. Regarding Mayor Newsom's handling of the event: ... Too bad he forget to invite Mr. Fun. Perhaps, MF will crash the shindig and just sit in the street all alone as a form of protest against such a two faced overreaction to what could have been a lucrative event for this city. If your going to waste your taxpaper's money with fences and cops, for God's sake sell tickets and have a cash bar.
