More From Stanley Saitowitz: 1234 Howard

A tipster sent this teaser to us: a serene slide show of the new Stanley Saitowitz project on Howard Street between 8th and 9th. Looks glorious, but that's what Photoshop is for. Local homeless, drunks and trannies completely airbrushed into another neighborhood altogether. Also looks much lighter on it's feet than the beautiful but somewhat ponderous 855 Folsom. Sales office to open in July, we're told. Small building, only 18 units, and we expect the developer paid to transfer BMR requirements to another site. The site, below, on what must have been a busy weekday, courtesy of Google's Street View.

1.

the temple he designed that is being built at 14th ave and clement is butt ugly! it's a blight on the neighborhood -- too big for its site and ugly materials.
