With Karl making all-too-brief appearances as of late, San Francisco temperatures will tip over the edge of comfortably warm this week and into brazenly warm.
"The warm trend will bring temperatures in the low to mid-70s in San Francisco all week," reports the Chronicle. And that's pretty hot for us.
But the real heatwave will hit inland areas. Some temps are expected to reach ungodly levels of 100 or higher.
This is all a sign that you should consider playing hooky, if possible, to take a tour of the Filbert Street Steps in Telegraph Hill, catch some vitamin D at one of the Bay Area's best beaches, or going on a hike. Your call.
