After all these years going in and out of the Montgomery Street Muni station, we spotted this door, atop the south side entrance, ajar on Friday. And what's inside was a surprising treat: an employee break room.
The carved woodwork cabinetry is quite the contrast to the station's fluorescent-lit mood. It's almost magical, at least for those of us who toil in and out of the station, to and from work each day. It's like an SFMTA version of Narnia.
Delightful.
