Chances are, if you’re reading this, you’ve had a stressful week. (No particular reason we might assume so, just call it instinct. Ahem.)
With that in mind, we’d like to remind you that the National Parks Service, in observation of its Centennial, is making admission to most of its parks on the house tomorrow.
(Not Alcatraz, though. They’re feeling magnanimous, but they’re not suckers.)
With everything going on, this is as good of a time as any to take in the natural splendor of Muir Woods or even Yosemite, if you don’t mind a little road trip.
In the meantime, Instagram provides us a few extra, timely reminders of all the great things that haven’t changed lately (or in hundreds of years, in some cases):
- Muir Woods National Monument
- San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park
- Pinnacles National Park
- Yosemite
